Leadership Vermilion Alumni

Graduates of the Leadership Vermilion program automatically become eligible to join the Leadership Vermilion Alumni Association. The Association exists to strengthen the network of Leadership Vermilion graduates while continuing to develop leaders who are committed to serving and improving Vermilion Parish.

Through ongoing engagement, professional relationships, and community involvement, the Alumni Association helps graduates remain connected to one another and to the important issues shaping our parish.

Mission

The mission of the Leadership Vermilion Alumni Association is to further develop community leaders and maintain the relationships established through the Leadership Vermilion program.

Goals of the Alumni Association

  • Support the Leadership Vermilion program.
  • Maintain and strengthen the network of Leadership Vermilion graduates.
  • Promote members for leadership opportunities within governmental, civic, charitable, and service organizations.
  • Provide scholarship assistance for qualified future Leadership Vermilion participants.
  • Keep alumni connected through ongoing communication, engagement, and community involvement.

Leadership Vermilion Scholarships

The Leadership Vermilion Alumni Association is proud to invest in the next generation of community leaders by offering scholarship opportunities to qualified applicants entering the Leadership Vermilion program.

Scholarship funding is made possible through the generous support of Leadership Vermilion graduates and other contributors who believe in developing future leaders for Vermilion Parish.

If you wish to apply for scholarship assistance, please complete the Leadership Vermilion Scholarship Application and submit it along with your completed Leadership Vermilion Program Application.

Scholarship awards are based on several factors, including:

  • Financial need.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • A strong commitment to personal and professional growth through the Leadership Vermilion program.
  • Available scholarship funding.

Scholarship recipients receive their award upon successful completion of the Leadership Vermilion program. Scholarships are formally presented during the program’s graduation ceremony held each October.
