Chamber Membership Awards

Established in 2017 by the Chamber’s Membership Committee, the Chamber Membership Awards recognize the outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals who make a lasting impact on Vermilion Parish.

These awards celebrate excellence in business, leadership, customer service, community involvement, and innovation. Each recipient represents the very best of our business community and demonstrates a strong commitment to the growth and success of Vermilion Parish.

Award recipients are nominated by fellow business leaders and community members who recognize their dedication, leadership, and positive contributions. Winners are announced each year during the Chamber’s Annual Membership & Installation Banquet, held each January.

Business of the Year Award

The Business of the Year Award honors a Chamber member that demonstrates exceptional support of the local business community through Chamber involvement, workforce development, and community leadership.

Eligibility: The nominee must be a current member of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and conduct business within Vermilion Parish.

Customer Service Award

The Customer Service Award recognizes a business or individual that consistently exceeds customer expectations by delivering exceptional service, responsiveness, and professionalism.

Eligibility: Nominees must be Chamber members who own a business, provide services, work for a local business, or actively volunteer within Vermilion Parish.

Make a Difference Award

Introduced in 2022, the Make a Difference Award honors an outstanding organization or individual whose volunteer service and community involvement have significantly enhanced the quality of life throughout Vermilion Parish.

Eligibility: Chamber member organizations or individuals actively serving Vermilion Parish, including civic organizations, nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, and community groups.

Vermilion Impact Award

The Vermilion Impact Award recognizes a forward-thinking business or individual who embraces the unique culture of Vermilion Parish while making a meaningful and lasting impact on the community through leadership, innovation, and service.

Eligibility: The nominee must be a current member of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and conduct business within Vermilion Parish.

Young Professional Award

The Young Professional Award recognizes an emerging leader whose dedication, professionalism, and community involvement exemplify the Chamber’s mission through outstanding business and civic achievement.

Eligibility:

• Must be under the age of 45.
• Must live and/or conduct business in Vermilion Parish.
• Must demonstrate leadership, professionalism, initiative, and a passion for serving others.
• Must be a member of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce, FUEL Vermilion Young Professionals, Leadership Vermilion, or the Leadership Vermilion Alumni Association.
